The building of Raiffeisen Bank’s service center in Nyíregyháza was handed over, more than four hundred people will work in the new office building, the bank told MTI on Tuesday.

The bank’s telephone and video banking customer service operates in the banking operations center, where residential and corporate credit requests are assessed, and the areas supporting daily banking operations – such as account opening and banking operations tasks – were also located in the new building.

In the announcement, György Zolnai, CEO of Raiffeisen Bank Zrt., emphasized: the Nyíregyháza center’s turnover and number of employees have increased dynamically in recent years, so a new building was needed, which, together with the bank’s technical equipment, was completed with an investment of billions.

The number of employees working at the center has increased from the initial four to over four hundred today, the CEO indicated.

He noted that there is an increasing demand for digital customer relationship services, in which the bank has already introduced a number of pioneering solutions on the domestic market. Referring to the traffic of the local telephone customer service, he added that the colleagues who work here receive an average of 10-15 thousand calls per week.

The Austrian Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI), one of the largest banking groups in Central and Eastern Europe, established its Hungarian subsidiary more than 30 years ago. The profit of the Hungarian Raiffeisen Bank exceeded HuF 36 billion in 2021, an increase of 150 percent compared to the previous year, the company’s managers announced earlier.
